When connecting SY solenoid valves to DC voltage, are the connections polarity sensitive?
For SY valve, when the electrical entry is grommet or L/M plug connectors and the surge voltage suppressor is S or Z, then there is a polarity. The red lead wire shows a plus (+) and the black one a minus (-). For the SY plug-in type, S/Z/NS/NZ with the surge voltage suppressor, they also have polarities. When the electrical entry is the DIN connector type there is no polarity even if the surge voltage suppressor is either S or Z.
Please refer to notices for individual products in SY series.
