SMC Corporation entered the Chinese market in 1985.
Four factories have been established in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Guangzhou in China, making them a key production base.
We have expanded our operations primarily in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Changzhou, and now have 110 sales offices and over 380 distributors nationwide to provide our customers with rapid and professional technical services.
We also have logistics centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Changzhou with over 17,000 item types in stock to accommodate orders from both within China and around the world.

SMC China Technical Center was established in Beijing in 2007 and mainly develops custom-made products, pneumatics air pressure software, performance testing, and technical support.
We also work with many universities to support engineering research and to train technical professionals.

Global Production Base, SMC China’s Factories

As the 21st century’s major production base, SMC China began production of air cylinders in 1996 and received approval to be registered as a bonded factory in the same year. SMC China began mass production of high-quality, reliable pneumatic equipment in the state-of-the-art facility.
Having set 4 factories in the Beijing Economic & Technological Development zone and Beijing Tianzhu Export Processing zone (bonded district), SMC China undertakes full-scale manufacturing of air cylinders, Air Combination (air filter, regulator and lubricator), dryers and fittings. This enables them to supply their products to 40 different countries of the world including Japan.
In order to ensure a flexible response to the diversifying needs of the domestic customers within China, they have established manufacturing plants specializing in products for the domestic market within their Beijing factory, Changzhou, as well as SMC Guangzhou.

SMC (China) Beijing R&D Center (5 floors, total land area of 10,040 m2) was established in August 2005 for the purpose of providing technical support service to our users.
We also established the headquarters and the engineering department for basic research and development of pneumatic technology and we are forming a support system to quickly respond to customer requests, such as for special products, etc. We will also establish a showroom to serve as a location for information exchange. In addition to selling our products, we are working towards offering high-quality support by providing better information, suggestions, and detailed responses.

Thermo-chiller Support : Beijing / Shanghai / Wuhan / Shenzhen Chiller Support Center

The support center was established to provide a maintenance service for thermo-chillers used in the manufacturing process of IC’s and FPD’s. In addition, dedicated staff members are available for technical support.
