SMC Automation (Hong Kong) Limited (formerly known as SMC Pneumatics (Hong Kong) Ltd.) was established in 1985.
To meet with the high market demand and diversified needs from customers, SMC Hong Kong has expanded the business over Hong Kong and Southern China. Other than selling quality SMC pneumatic components, SMC Hong Kong is also customer-oriented to provide comprehensive pre-sales and after-sales service, technical supports and various free services to all industries. Free services include pure pneumatics and electrical pneumatics training courses, training material, dew point testing and energy saving audit, etc.

Hong Kong Workshop was double expanded in 2015, we had nine Japanese Automatic 7-axis Multifunctional CNC lathes and equipped with automatic feeder. The processing bar diameter is maximum bore 45 mm. The new machines could do the piston rod and cylinder tube cutting and special made components machining accurately at fast pace, so to improve the productivity and quality which will be able to meet the urgent needs from customers. The original machines in factory also could produce a variety of cylinders with different bore size (6 to 300 mm) and stroke lengths up to 4,000 mm, so that customers would enjoy our fast and value added service of Local-made cylinder effectively such as service of cylinder replacement and urgent delivery in same day.
