Electric Actuator/Slider Type (LEJS,LET Series) for Collaborative Robots
Plug-in software for UNIVERSAL ROBOTS
We provide a plug-in software that allows for the operation of slider type electric actuators by Universal Robots.
・By installing this plug-in software onto a Universal Robot, it is possible to use an LEJS series or LET series actuator as
the 7th axis, such as the traveling axis (additional axis).
・This plug-in software can be downloaded for free from the SMC World website.
Download the plug-in software (URCap) onto a USB drive and install it onto the UR controller box.
・In order to use this plug-in software, select motor type T6, T7, T8, or T9 for LEJS series and LET series actuators.
The LECSN2-T□-9 AC servo driver must be ordered separately.
Caution
The LEJS series and LET series actuators as well as the LECSN2-T□-9 do not support the safety functions required by collaborative robots.
Be sure to implement sufficient safety measures for the application.
The bracket for connecting the electric slider and the robot should be prepared by the customer.
Compatible electric actuators
Compatible with LEJS series and LET series actuators equipped with motor types T6, T7, and T9.
The AC servo driver (LECSN2-T□-9) must be ordered separately.
